I visited Stourhead last year for a cousin’s wedding. We were staying in one of the National Trust cottages by the lake and I was lucky to steal a bit of time to sit peacefully with my painting box and enjoy this iconic landscape.
This painting would work really well hung in a bedroom or as part of a collection of paintings making up a salon-style hang wall displaying a varied collection of artworks.
